President Joan Gotlibson opened the meeting at 1:00 p.m.

Approval of January meeting minutes: Moved by Aurelia Scott, seconded by Soren Christensen, approved unanimously.

New business:

• March 9th: Portland Flower Show: 3:30 PM Container Roses presentation by Clarence Rhodes

• March 11th: Program: John Mattia's presentation on "Rose Gardens of Europe"

• April 9th: Clarence Rhodes: Garden Soils

• May 13th: MRS Demonstration: Bareroot Roses Demo at Skillin's in Falmouth

• May 27th: MRS Rose Sale in conjunction with Master Gardeners (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

• June 24th:OGR garden tour at Soren Christenson's garden

• July 9th: Garden tour at Gotlibson’s

• August 13th: Clarence's Cookout and Regular Meeting

• September 10th:TENTATIVE: Growing Concern (presentation) and Regular Meeting

• October 15th: Founder's Day Banquet

• November 12th: Annual Business Meeting

• December 16th: Christmas Party

Balance: Treasurer Claire Homan gave the balance to Deb to announce it.
