MRS FAQs Post: June 15, 2006

I once bought a golden yellow climbing rose, everblooming or recurrent, VERY hardy and very fragrant-spicy-from a Maine Rose grower. About two years ago I tried to find them and they were out of business. I've since lost the catalogue. Do you have any idea what the rose might be and where I might find more?

Thank you,

John

John,
The nursery was most likely Rosarie at Bayfields and has gone out of business as you indicate. I do have old catalogs somewhere and will see if I can find the catalog. Yellow hardy climbers are a rare thing. You did not indicate where you live, so a low growing shrub in Maine may possibly be a climber in a warmer climate.
