I'm considering one of two climbers, neither of which I've grown before. I wonder if any of you rosarians have any experience with Zepheriene Droughin or Dublin Bay. Any comments and suggestions much appreciated.

| 7/23/06 Rick, I am growing Zepheriene Droughin currently on a climbing structure. The four or five plants that I have are four or five years old and somewhat shaded. The plant is listed as a zone 5 plant but we live in zone 4b and it survives but usually dies back each year so never gets very tall. The flowers have a nice fragrance amd are a rasberry color. I do like this rose very much but it remains short for most years. I have not grown Dublin Bay.

| 7/24/06 Thank you for the reply, Sari. Does your ZD get much blackspot as the books say it can? And how much shade does it get in your garden? Thanks again. Rick Lynch |
