Linda Roberts, July 14, 2005 Moving a beach rose bush - we moved on just last week, I think this was a big mistake, but we had not choice. How do I recover it, it looks lifeless. Can you help?

7/15/05 Most roses look that way when moved. Water it throughly every day, and even more than once a day, until it begins to look better. It often takes one to two weeks of daily attention to have the leaves look good again. Jerry Cinnamon MRS Member

7/14/05 Keep it well watered til it looks better. Do not fertilize it. Cut it back so that the roots will not have so much plant to feed. Charlee Curtis MRS Member
