Cathy Fletcher, July 10, 2005 I have a question. I have Maidiland (sp?) roses along my walk, one has died and I want to replace it. I am having difficulty finding one to match those I already have. My rose is a coral/pink/red with white on the back of the 5 petal flower. Could you tell me the name of it and or where I might order it. O'Donals in Gorham has Maidiland roses but not this variety. Roosevelt Trail Gardens and Sebago Gardens are also close by.

| 7/11/05 Cathy, I thought that this might be Coral Mediland and checked it out at http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/l.php?i=A1316&tab=10. You will notice that it has several other names. You can order this bare root, for spring shipping, from many online nurseries if you do not find it locally. If this is not the rose, most online nurseries have photo albums to match your rose. Check out Maine Rose Society links for online rose nurseries.

| 7/11/05 Dear Cathy, There are quite a few Meidiland roses! One series is Meidiland Fuscia, Scarlet, Coral, and Cherry. These are all singles, you could check on these two websites at the end of my email to see if any of these are your rose. Wayside Gardens has the series in their catalog, but once you find the name, you can call the different nurseries in the area. Keep in mind, alot of nurseries have a website and email also. One to check is Young's Perennials on the Yarmouth/ Freeport line. They have all hardy roses, most are own-root, which is a big plus. www.everyrose.com and www.helpmefind.com. Good luck on your search!
