Hello, I have been searching for an Audrey Hepburn rose bush for several years--I was wondering if you had any suggestions? I would really appreciate it. Thank you. Linda |
| 1/8/06 Linda, I started with Helpmefind.com and came up with two different roses, one a Hybrid Tea and the other a floribunda. They have different hybridizers and years of introduction. Do you know which one that you are searching for. That would help.

Good morning! Thank you for the information--I am looking for the Audrey Hepburn rose that is rather creamy white--maybe it was slight pinkish--but really creamy white. I have not seen it for several years and I have never been able to find the rose. A person I used to work with had it in her garden and that is how I fell in love with it. It might be a hybrid tea rose. Thank you, again. Linda

| 1/8/06 Linda, It clearly is not the floribunda and the hybrid tea is most likely since the amount of pink is related to temperature. Colder temperaturs will heighten the pink color and warmer temperatures will be more whitish. I did a google search and found one place that sells this rose as part of a garden collection. This is at http://www.backyardgardener.com/gd/Rose,%20Very%20Special%20Garden.htm You might write them and ask for their source of this rose.
